In the Museum of Burnt Food (somewhere in Massachusetts) there would be a place for this. Alas, in my house its place will be the garbage bin.
I switched on the oven forgetting that the dough for the next bread was in there, in a plastic bowl, and only Juan’s acute sense of smell saved us from sure toxic death.
Oven is clean and shiny again, another loaf of bread has just been baked, and I guess I’ll just have to get hold of some stainless steel bowls (at least there wouldn’t be the plastic fumes).
